Sporecast
Áspora takes root in Leipzig, inspired by the organic flow of spores — spreading ideas, rhythms, and connections, and aiming to cultivate an intersectional local scene. Driven by a shared passion for music and equity, our mission is to build bridges between artists, labels, and communities, with a particular focus on the diaspora and the Global South. To achieve this, we will broadcast a diverse selection of genres, curated to suit each show and engage in more informative work through interviews and commented selections, creating awareness of both emerging and traditional music with the support of guests and collaborative partners.
About this Episode
In our last episode, we traced the threads between sound and self, sharing how music has shaped our identities from early memories to the present. This time, we pass the spotlight to BNYI, índigo, and Simón JaVa, who bring a curated selection of their most resonant finds from the past three months — drawn from a sonic palette rooted deeply in diasporic textures and echoes.
